For Control Measurement and Software Solutions in the Concrete Industry
OptiBatch has been under development by Automation & Electronics over the last five years with thorough testing within the concrete ready-mix industry. The Automation & Electronics OPTIBATCH family can provide you with control, measurement and software management solutions for all concrete batching applications, from small loader feed plants, to the biggest multi lane and overhead bin fed plants. Optibatch is a modular solution, based upon the two following components; Optibatch Enterprise: which manages customers, products, pricing, orders, scheduling and fleet management. Optibatch Control: which automates the batching process to include handling, weighing and delivery of both aggregate and cement & also water & additive metering. Because Optibatch is a modular system it can be configured to interface with your existing management systems and controls, or installed as a complete turnkey solution for concrete batching plant management. It is designed so that more than one concrete company can cart out of the same batching plant, or a number of plants can be scheduled from one central location. Optibatch is based on the Microsoft SQL Database with a web based front end interface. This allows management from any PC in the organisation by staff or sales personnel in the field. Administration of the system can take place from anywhere in the world over a secure VPN/SSL Internet connection. Optibatch Enterprise & Control supports multiple monitors so that the batching operator can monitor plant schedule, batching progress & fleet movement screens simultaneously. Optibatch is reliable, non proprietary, easy to maintain and fully tailored to your requirements. Batching and production data is all archived, this information is then stored for quality control, audit and reporting purposes. The Optibatch system is both secure, using a 5 level user password system and safe incorporating a dual channel E-Stop monitoring circuit as recommended by OHS.
