BINVIEW CONTROLS
Bin View is a PC based Windows software package that provides the user with an interface to the Binview PLC control system. The Binview system is capable of controlling any type or make of bin sorter, and is frequently used to update second hand machinery controls. It doesn't matter how many bins your bin sorter has, what grading system is used, or the physical sizes of the lumber to be sorted - the Binview system can be configured to suit your specific requirements. One of the main features of the Binview system is the flexibility it provides operators to configure the bin sorter. Sorting boards of varying dimensions, grades and moisture content into pre-selected bin pockets is very easily achieved using the Binview controls. Sorting capabilities provide for up to 40 grades and 16 lengths, widths, thicknesses and moisture levels.
Most timing adjustments for the sorter timing are accessed via the SCADA package and are easily adjusted without involvement in the PLC programmer.
System timing is dynamically adjusted according to sorter speed to compensate for mechanical response (lag time) of diverters and other equipment.
A capture button is provided for taking snapshots of board data for analysis.
Extensive reports are available from the system. Each board's data is stored in a MS Access or SQL database as it is processed.
